This is the whole story about the lost children of the shadow gardens.



Part 1 The shadow gardens.



There was once a begining to the land of runescape. Before runescape became what it is known to be today, it was a great garden created by 3 diferent gods. Saradomin the founder of the garden was destin to make it a wonderfull peaceland with many beautiful sites. It would always be bright and lovely until the moon rises to the clouds and makes a wonderfull sunset. Now the god zamorack did not agree with saradomin, he believed that the garden should be a dark horable place where humans worked day in day out creating magnificent symbols to show thier love in thier gods.



Zammorack and saradomin argued about eachothers ideas and never even began to creat the garden. The power of the gods was crumbling under thier feet and once again they had to turn to guthix for help. Wise guthix found a way to solve this problem. Guthix said quote "only a powerfull leader can ballence the wise evenly with the wise, You fools both are not wise!" Guthix then says "the garden will be bright and dark, There will be people not just to work for thier gods but to enjoy the life they are given, And you both must know that the people of the garden will hold the power not you!"



The 2 gods saradomin and zammorack began to think. "how can something be both bright and dark?" It took the gods 2 (Human) years to come up with a descision. They then confronted guthix with thier descision and he admired thier time and thought they had put into it. Guthix took out his scale and on one side put brightness and on the other darkness and in the middle a shadow. Nothing happend. Guthix stares at the scale and cant figure out what is wrong. The scale begins to move swaying back and forth between the bright and the dark. It stops at a perfect ballence. All 3 gods are pleased and began creating the Shadow gardens.



Part 2 Children of the shadow gardens



After the gods had finished creating the shadow gardens, they began to create pure bloods of the land which were considered children of the gods. There were aprox 100 of these pure bloods and they did not age or die. There was no reproduction of the pure bloods unless decided by one of the gods.

For years the pure bloods ruled the land with no contact to the outer world. Until one day a group of explorers came across the garden and made it thier home. Soon all the Breath taking rocks had been mined, the wonderfull trees had been cut, and the beautiful garden had been destroyed. The pure bloods had been forced to join the outsiders that had ruined thier land.



Now nobody knows about the pure bloods any more exept for the pure bloods themselves. What is now runescape was once a beautiful garden destroyed by explorers. The gardens are no more and never will be again but remember....
